Felipe Soares is an ordained pastor in the Seventh-day Adventist Church denomination. He currently pastors the Boston Temple SDA church in Boston, MA, and is employed by the Southern New England Conference of SDA. He has served as a pastor for 7 years, most of which have been in the city of Chicago.

He is passionate about ministering and teaching young people. While in Chicago, he worked as a youth pastor and academy chaplain for the North Shore SDA Church and Academy in the Illinois Conference of SDA. He has partnered with local entities such as Adventhealth and the Chicago Brazilian Community to provide teaching and care for teens in Chicagoland. Felipe sees the virtues of leadership, embracing identity and resilience as virtues that can equip young people to thrive in today’s complicated world. His messages strike at the heart of these themes.

He is a native of Brazil and was raised for most of his youth in Long Island, NY. He holds a Masters of Divinity degree from The Andrews University Theological Seminary in Berrien Springs, MI. His undergraduate education was attained in the nation’s capital at Washington Adventist University in Takoma Park, MD, where he studies Theology and Psychology.

He is married to his dear wife, Sarah, and they live together in the city of Boston with Shelby, their little dog.
